Maybe I should’ve mentioned this earlier but when I launch Epic Games it says that “ api-ms-downlevel-kernel32-l2-1-0.dll” is missing, but after that error message everything just launches seemingly normally anyways, so I figured I didn’t need to care about that.Notice: Undefined index: If you have an error related to in /var/on line 91 When I use the executable for Chiv on my desktop, the game launches without any problems.

It seems that the issue with a black screen only happens when launching the game through Epic Games Store. Except this time I’m simply met with a black screen, with no sounds and unable to interact with anything. I’m now able to “launch” the game without any error messages.

I followed the 2nd solution posted below by CATBUG. Closing the message down had the Easy AntiCheat system informing me that the game didn’t launch because of “untrustworthy file xinput1_4.dll”.Īnyone knows a fix to these problems? Thank you. When I now attempted to launch the game, I got a new error message. I did as such and put it in my System32 folder, along with the other “xinput1” files. When I try to launch the game, it says that it’s unable to because the file “xinput1_4.dll” is missing, I googled around a bit and found that it’s available for download online. So I’m having some issues launching the game from the Epic Games Store.
